BioThis blog, this "Live Journal" has been a long time coming.
I used to write all the time when I was in school, nothing spectacular, non fiction "this is how things are for me" (like Zoe Trope, w/out the wise-beyond-her-years maturity and sexual identity issues), mostly I kept teen angsty journals, which I might be mortified to read now. I never intended for anyone to see those. But I wrote for classes and my high school news paper and apparently I was good enough that people (teachers, parents, friends, the occasional random person at school) would come up to me and tell me it was good/it made them laugh, whatever.
But after a few terms at PCC, I got depressed, burned out on school and I just kind of stopped writing. For myself, for others. I just stopped. I'd write an occasional journal entry, but other than that, my communication consists of email and chat.
So my friend Caleb says "You should start a live journal."
It doesn't really matter if I don't have anything deep or worthwhile to say at first, it's just about getting back to writing. It's cheaper than therapy.
